General Information
The North Carolina Environmental Conference is the largest, most comprehensive and diverse environmental education opportunity in North Carolina, and is attended by 500 Local, State, and Federal Government Officials, Economic Development, Business and Industry Leaders, Corporate Sustainability, Scientists, Educators and Universities, Non-profits, Manufacturers, Attorneys, Consultants, Architects, Engineers, Builders and Contractors, Developers, Land Owners, Agribusiness Leaders, Energy and Transportation Experts, Geologists, Forestry, Agribusiness, Water Planning Districts, Public Health Officials, Solid and Hazardous Waste, Recycling Experts, Enviro-Tech, and many others with a strong interest in environmental activities in North Carolina and the South Atlantic region.
Over the two-day event, NCEC hosts an elite group of environmental professionals seeking to exchange knowledge and share ideas around environmental concerns in North Carolina and across the South Atlantic region. The educational program, designed and developed by our Steering Committee, offers 40+ unique courses in eight educational breakout sessions, allowing attendees to design their own personalized curriculum by selecting eight (8) courses, while receiving self-reported Continuing Education credits (as applicable). With the combined efforts of the state’s leading environmental organizations, the North Carolina Environmental Conference is a valued educational opportunity focused on Sustaining the Future for the People of North Carolina and the South Atlantic region.
